Shia LaBeouf has had an interesting few years to say the least, and while the dude is undeniably a talented actor, he isn’t exactly someone I’d want to take to my niece’s bat mitzvah.

But hear this: Shia can rap! Seriously. He went on Sway’s Universe this week and freestyled, and it wasn’t terrible. There was one bizarre line in there about Timbuktu but other than that … not terrible.

I’m sure we’ll find out this is all part of some 17-month character actor performance where he’s playing himself as a rapper playing himself as a rapper or some such thing, but for now, good on you, Shia.
